2-day, focused leadership experience

Connect | Reflect | Grow

with Ellie Pietsch, Partner at Leading Teams Australia

15th - 17th May 2024

Mineral Springs Hotel, Hepburn, Victoria

As a leader, your commitment to driving and nurturing a culture of high performance and continual improvement is unwavering.

What does that really look like in action?

How often do you find the time to purposefully reflect on your leadership style and impact on your team?

When was the last time you gave yourself the space to connect in a meaningful way about navigating the challenges of leadership?

Join us at the 2024 Leading Women Retreat, an exclusive event where 16 dynamic women leaders will embark on a transformative journey. This retreat is designed to provide a unique blend of reflection, skill-building, and wellbeing in an environment that fosters connection and growth.

  • Develop meaningful new connections with other incredible women leaders
  • Prioritise time for yourself to reflect on your purpose, values and leadership impact
  • Drop the facade and have open, genuine conversations about what it means to be a woman in leadership
I gained so much from attending the Retreat, both personally and professionally. Being able to step away from work to focus on yourself with like-minded women who were so open, honest to sharing experiences was very special. I feel like the retreat has opened a gateway to both self-discover and self-belief ... and I don't want it to shut any time soon! “

Build your connection with other women leaders and explore common challenges facing people just like you.

Meaningfully reflect on your leadership style, impact and vision.

Grow your network, Grow your leadership impact, Grow your understanding of what it takes to lead in a modern workplace.

“It really made me think about my behaviour and how it may contribute / set the tone of an environment or dynamics of the team.”

Integrated to your retreat program is a balance of group, individual and wellbeing work designed to help you disconnect from "busy" and reconnect to your own rythym and purpose.

Each day we will explore a variety of movement and gentle exercise with Lulu and share quality meals together during scheduled meal breaks.

On Thursday evening we will continue our peer connection with a trip to the award winning Hepburn Bathhouse for a shared reflection activity.

How do you know if this retreat is right for you, or someone in your team? What return on investment will your organisation, business or team receive?

Attendees who fully commit to and engage in this retreat will return to their organisation with

  • a clear plan for the next 12 months on how to develop and empower their team members
  • a strong network of exceptional leaders from diverse markets, willing to share with and learn from each other

Ellie’s expertise lies at the intersection of culture, leadership and change.

With a background in leadership development, stakeholder engagement and organisational change in sport, member associations and corporate consulting, the only constant in Ellie’s life is transformational change. Prior to joining Leading Teams in 2021, Ellie was the global lead for Change Leadership at Deloitte Australia, supporting global executives to drive organisational performance during times of disruption. Ellie has worked with leaders in mining, government, infrastructure, education, construction and health to help them leverage their leadership capability to drive ambitious transformation agendas, whilst maintaining a strong performance culture.

No stranger to leadership in male dominated areas, Ellie was the first woman JetSki operator in Victoria, the first woman Chief Lifeguard of the Surf Coast and the first CEO of a lifesaving club in Victoria. She was the first Director of Life Saving Victoria under 30 and, if you’ve seen the ad about painting a surf club in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs, ask Ellie about the three years she spent living in the clubhouse in a room under the stairs as the first women Caretaker.

Ellie is an expert facilitator, drawing on real life examples and using a unique blend of experiential learning tools, stories and theory to get people talking about the things that really matter. Ellie’s clients appreciate the humour, vulnerability and honesty she shares, creating an environment of psychological safety that encourages openness and learning.

Ellie was able to describe the models we learnt about and then we put the learnings into real life situations. Being able to do this was a very powerful way of learning.
I didn't really have any expectations going in, but the facilitator (Ellie) was fantastic - she was authentic, engaging, and genuinely invested in our learning/development.
Ellie fabulously managed the content in a highly practical manner giving us real tools that we can take with us into our respective businesses and immediately implement. I highly recommend this course.

Louise is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker, qualified in Coaching Psychology and has over ten years of experience supporting individuals to change. She brings a wealth of experience having owned a personal training and coaching business for a number of years, and currently runs her own private practice - Mind to Thrive - supporting teams and organisations to build psychological safety. Louise is passionate about evidence-based interventions combining movement and mindset approaches.

LuLu changed my mindset about wellness and fitness. She helped me prepare for childbirth and the impact on my career, and cared for me during my relationship breakdown. I have never felt so safe with another fitness professional.
